This is a surprisingly good movie. Well worth seeing, especially on the big screen
The other day I was watching Ron Howard ‘Rush’ on television, a movie that is sensationally faithful to its name as it chronicles a remarkable and explosive rivalry in the world of Formula One racing – that between the Austrian Niki Lauda and the flamboyant bordering on a rockstar Brit James Hunt.
The film tells the story of their brushes on and off the track in superbly gritty fashion, Howard pulling out all stops from using authentic 70s F1 cars to great camerawork to some crazy editing. But this is not a film review blog; nor is this a sports blog. What I was most struck by was what a fine example of investment wisdom has been Niki Lauda courageous life and career, the man who so cool and calculating, they called him the Calculator.
