The population of Sweden is about twice that New Zealand and a million more. The population of Syria is almost 23,000,000.
Nearly half of Syria’s population has been displaced since the start of the civil war in 2011. Half. It’s the equivalent of 135 million Americans being forced to move.
I admire Sweden’s generosity, but not their wisdom. Three million Syrians have become refugees abroad and 6.5 million more have fled their homes for other locations within the country.

A small handful of useful idiots believe they are being generous but I would like to claim that this has to do with ideology.
In the Swedish no-go zones, ghettos, and multicultural areas almost all the citizens vote for the Socialists. They have been gradually losing power as Swedes who get wealthier tend to vote for the liberal parties. By importing millions of people who don’t have an education or speak Swedish you create a much needed lower class and you gain votes.
The liberal parties have always despised the Soialist welfare-state whilst most Swedes do not. By promoting mass immigration from the Middle East they can pressure the welfare system to such an extent that it is ruined. The immigration has also created the rise of the Sweden Democrats who are a conservative party.
It would not surprise me if the liberals choose to co-operate with the Sweden Democrats in 4-8 years time which permanently undermines the socialists.
The reason I write mass-immigration from the Middle East and not refugees is because a mere 10% of asylum seekers are refugees. 9/10 do not have any form of valid identification and the reason people choose Sweden as a destination is not our pleasant weather or our lovely culture but the fact that we have the most generous welfare-state in the world.
A Somali woman with 3 children can receive up to $3000/month in benefits.
If stated the forementioned in Sweden I would be labelled as a nazi/fascist/racist. (I kid you not)
