Google has chosen the criminals at Politifact to be their Ministry of Truth about climate. Here is their latest criminal activity.
Ted Cruz made a 100% accurate statement. Satellites show no warming for over 17 years, and models are wrong.
Cruz responded, “My view actually is simple. Debates on this should follow science and should follow data. Many of the alarmists on global warming, they’ve got a problem because the science doesn’t back them up. In particular, satellite data demonstrate for the last 17 years, there’s been zero warming. None whatsoever. It’s why — you remember how it used to be called ‘global warming’ and then magically the theory changed to ‘climate change’? The reason is it wasn’t warming, but the computer models still say it is, except the satellites show it’s not.”

There has been warming in the last 17 years. Only the innumerate would argue otherwise.
One would look at a far longer time period if one was going to argue against warming. none do!

Odd. If I had a dollar for every time a climate alarmist pointed out a hot summer, cold winter or the recent cyclone is large enough sample size to be evidence of global warming, I would be a rich man.
If you look back over a longer period as you suggest, you will discover that after the end of the little ice age, the world got warmer. No one disputes that.
Climate alarmists don’t want to talk about the little ice age was then they reintroduce into the conversation something they don’t want to admit: natural variation of climate can be large and is largely unexplained.

The world has got warmer over the last 17 years even if you only take satellite data. How ironic liars are calling people saying this liars.

You cannot argue that the last 17 years is too short a period then start quibbling about what that irrelevant period actually shows.

I am not. Any test of statistical significance must be over a long time period but the world has gotten warmer over the last 17 years.
