Naomi Oreskes of Harvard believes that there is a giant big tobacco/big oil conspiracy of paid skeptics trying to destroy the planet. She has a loyal following in the academic community and the press, who are somehow too lame to actually contact skeptics like myself and find out that she is a wildly paranoid loon.
Other conspiracy nutcases include people who believe the moon landing was faked, based on evidence like this.
They argue that the shadows must have been from a local light source, because the guy closer to the light has a longer shadow. These geniuses are too stupid to understand that a local light source would have the exact opposite effect – the further person would have the longer shadow.
