First I was told that if I can’t get a job without an Anglo-saxon name, and now I am told that I am a speculator if I have a Chinese family name. Sadly my whakapapa is to be blamed for the problem this country has.

Everyone’s name has a story, even if it is because your parents are too lazy to come up with something.

As I have been told I am a trouble maker (which I know I am!) I am surprise to hear that Labour has yet again blame the Chinese for inflating the housing prices. MP and spokesperson of Auckland and Housing issues, Mr Phil Twyford have decided name and shame Chinese people as the cause of unaffordable Auckland house prices. This age old debate is once back again, and specifically targeting Chinese.
