I agree that Tom Watson has already started here is leadership bid. Is acceptance speech the other night was quite charming. He is ambitious, able and pragmatic.
Is already started to go on about how he has a leadership mandate as well because he was directly elected by the members. He has already marked out quite clear points of difference with his leader on foreign policy and the European Union.
I think I was the first to suggest that the Corbyn leadership was being backed by the unions as a front for Tom Watson to take over the Labour leadership:
