In just about two days time, boxers Floyd Mayweather (the world’s highest paid athlete appropriately nicknamed “Money”) and Manny Pacquiao (nicknamed “Pacman” and a member of the legislature in his native Philippines) will trade punches in Las Vegas in what is being billed (adjust suitably for usual boxing promoter hype and hyperbole factor) as the “Fight Of The Century”. It is a fight that is making news because of the ridiculous sums of money involved; proceeds will be split between Mayweather and Pacquiao 60%-40% and those proceeds are likely to be north of $300 million, effectively making it the richest fight in history.
