We recently tweeted the writer of an otherwise unproblematic Guardian article (The Islamic school that ensures its boys understand the Israeli point of view, Aug. 7) in response to her erroneous claim that the Balfour Declaration promised “the land of Palestine” to the “Zionist Federation” of the UK and Ireland.
We then emailed Guardian editors, who upheld our complaint and amended the passage, which now reads as follows:
