Where is the international protest movement? Once again, the only explanation is that they must have been kidnapped.
There is no other reason why they are not protesting against Egypt’s blockade of the Gaza Strip in the same way they protest against the breaches of international law involved in the Israeli blockade!
More homes face demolition as Egyptian security forces warn people a buffer zone with Gaza is to be extended.
‘Inside Story’, Al Jazeera, 5 December 2014

The first phase of the operation began in October, days after 30 Egyptian soldiers were killed in a suicide attack on a checkpoint close to the Gaza border.
Thousands of people in northern Sinai were ordered to move out. Their homes were then bulldozed and bombed. The buffer zone runs for about 13km along Egypt’s border with the Gaza Strip.

…Egypt is considering creating a huge, 1,000-meter buffer zone in the Sinai Peninsula – they have already evicted 10,000 people in the process of clearing the first 500 meters — and digging a deep-water trench that would flood any future efforts to carve subterranean routes for smuggling weapons and terrorists in and out of Gaza.
And unlike the fierce resistance and international public relations campaign Hamas mounted against Israel in August, the terrorist group that governs Gaza appears to not be seeking a head-on fight with Cairo.

The most damning footage came on August 5 from Gallagher Fenwick of the TV network France 24. Several days prior, he had been reporting live when a Hamas rocket whooshed over his head.
Returning later to scene, he revealed that it had been a densely populated area 100 meters from a U.N. facility and 50 meters from a hotel frequented by foreign journalists.

Accept the current borders. Destroy all missiles and stop further imports of military hardware into Gaza.
End all threats against Israel’s territorial integrity and security. Punish all attacks from within Gaza against civilians.

see the Google map at http://www.nationsonline.org/oneworld/map/google_map_palestine.htm which shows that much of Gaza Strip to be rural – ideal for Hamas military and missile bases away from civilians as required by the laws of war.The laws of war also call for uniforms and the carrying of weapons openly so the fact that compliance with these laws of law would make Hamas more exposed to air attack is beside the point.
