MySpace is so yesterday that I cannot find anyone writing about it after 2014.
The first time I ever made some sort of profile on the internet was when I made a Piczo account when I was in the 7th grade. Piczo was a blogging website that was made for teens, in which each individual could customize their page with the tools given and put information about themselves, their likes, pictures, etc. I remember that Piczo was extremely popular in my Middle School and almost everyone had it. A few months later, the hype of Piczo eventually died down and a lot of people my age started joining the world of Myspace.
I remember visiting my abandoned Myspace a few months ago and feeling a bit nostalgic, although a bit embarrassed at the stuff my 14th year old used to put up back then. I couldn’t help but think that it was sort of like looking through a scrapbook or yearbook of some sort…
