I’ve been actively paying tribute to Peter Falk’s iconic Columbo character online for five years now, since his death on 23rd June 2011.
In that time I’ve unleashed about 15,000 tweets from the @columbophile Twitter account; written numerous articles; encountered hundreds of fellow fans across the world; been interviewed on the radio; taken Columbo on to Instagram; and, last August, branched out on to Facebook (a very late adopter, I know).
Wherever I’m active, I’m always delighted by the level of love that is still in evident for Columbo – and for Peter himself. He brought a lot of pleasure to a lot of people over a long period of time – and he’s as popular as ever.
